Welcome to the Berkner Area Orchestra Club

BAOC’s mission is to support and promote the RISD orchestras in the Berkner area. Our commitment is to:

• Ensure that the financial support is in place to allow the orchestras freedom of choice with regard to concerts, competitions, and new instruments
• Provide publicity to ensure enhanced community interest in our orchestras.
• Encourage larger audience attendance at the concerts from both within and outside the area schools.
• Support the orchestra directors whenever possible to allow them more time to do what they do best...teach!

The Berkner Area Orchestra Club is an organization comprised of parents of all of the Berkner area orchestra students. This includes Berkner High School and the feeder junior high schools (Apollo JHS and Liberty JHS). The BAOC strives to foster spirit and support the orchestra programs (concerts, competitions, trips, parties, etc.). EVERYONE is welcome to join-in the fun of helping our kids be the best they can be!!
